Highlights of 2015 – the Year the Wee Rebels Took Over

What a year we had Wee Rebels! Where do we even start? We found the best burger, walked away with a shiny award at the Herald Awards and toured the UK showing the yung un’s the best of the cutting edge of barbering. We’re not usually one for nostalgia but there’s never been a better time to look back as we gear up for another killer year. The Great British Barber Bash came to Glasgow, and it wouldn’t have been a barber bash without the Wee Rebel’s representing.

Showcasing some of the best hair, we took over Drygate with the freshest cuts at one of the newest events on the barbering circuit.

UFC’s JoJo Calderwood became the latest of our celeb clients, and seriously, what a barnet to work on. A bit of a colour and an undercut on one of the most iconic hairstyles on the UFC circuit.

Sammywin

Our Sammy picked up Apprentice of the Year as the Barber Awards. NBD or anything we we can’t help but feel like proud parents. Oan yerself!

And we only picked up best barber at Herald Look Awards. Not that we do it for the awards, but hell, it’s always nice to be recognised by a panel of your peers. Could not have been more pleased.

Our Alan is part of the iconic B.O.M.B squad and this year we created a gorgeous shoot with Hype clothing. One of our favourites of the year.

A day of dress up for Halloween cuts….

burgers

We teamed up with Glasgow’s best burger joints to find the people’s fave burger while raising money for Yorkhill Children’s Charity in the proces. We always love working on different charity projects but this fed the stomach and the soul.

I’ll Be Your Mirror styled a killer gang shoot (expect to see it in barbering mags near you this month)

and last but not least

We sponsored the Scottish Alternative Music Awards. From pop up gigs to the evening itself, we can’t wait to come on board with them for 2016.

And really that’s only scratching the surface. It barely touches the work with the Fellowship Fringe, Kevin Murphy or the beard project we ran with Tommy Cairns. It was one hell of a year, now we just need to match it with 2016!
