Chloe at Rebel Rebel Barber

Who you are and what you’ve done?

Hi, i’m Chloe Hendren. I’m a CMEA Technician here at Rebel Rebel.

How many years hairdressing as a Barber/Stylist?
Almost 3 years now.
Style or type of training
I trained at college for 2 years alongside working and training at Rebel Rebel during the second year. Since being at Rebel I got the opportunity to attend the Kevin Murphy Colour Me Excellence Award technician course, where i got to go into a colour lab and learn how it all works in a very specific way and learned the key to producing gorgeous colour every time.
Describe your cutting style
Im currently only a women’s hairdresser and love creating various styles. I am however currently training in my gents barbering with Alan every week and excited to start my career down that path.
What type of client should come to you and why?
I enjoy doing all sorts. I love doing wild colourful looks but also love creating natural glossy and beachy looks.
Why did you want to become a Hairdresser or Barber?
It was something I fell into when I was older and just really enjoyed it. I used to work in Hamley’s part time when I was in Uni and part of the job was to do hair ups on wee girls, it got me interested and it just went from there.
Whats the best thing about working in Glasgow and Rebel Rebel?
The atmosphere is always great, there is such a diverse group of staff and the clients are always so chatty!
What type of styling hair product is indispensable?
Definitely full again, but I like adding some anti gravity spray to it. It makes it runnier and you can spread it easier throughout long hair.
What inspires your creativity?
I like colours that look like nature, copper golden sunsets/ purply blue galaxies/ sandy beaches…
